Finally.......

Words first - then pics... I know you'll all skip to the pics at this point.

Just wanted to say they finally arrived and we got home from the hospital yesterday (it was a bit of a "Free at Last" moment). I know a lot of you have been waiting for pictures and hopefully this will suffice for a few days. Will try to post more soon.

Statistics - Elizabeth Kathleen Bland born at 12:52pm on the 10th of July, 2007 weighing in at a respectable 5lbs 12oz followed closely by Alexander Jack Bland born at 12:53pm topping the scales at an astounding 6lbs 2oz. Not bad really for twins. Although, I'd heard stories about twins who went to full term weighing 8 and 8.5 lbs each - sounds quite scary to me especially given my size at the end.

Anyway - here are the pictures. More on the story later...

Alex showing his consternation post pediatrician exam - it wasn't pleasant to watch - can't imagine how it felt.



So glad we got to go home from the hospital!!! We look so tiny in our car seats, but they are quite comfy. Libby's on the left and Alex is on the right.
