Paris and 25 weeks

Got to have one last big hurrah by going to Paris over last weekend. It was a combined work and fun trip. Thursday and Friday were spent at the Paris Museum of Natural History working with colleagues. The museum is situated on the Jardin des Plantes which is on the left bank (or Rive Gauche) of the Seine. Very pretty scenery, especially since the flowers and trees were all blooming.
On Saturday and Sunday we got to wander around a bit of Paris as well. The first pictures shown here are from that. We were staying quite near Notre Dame. We were going to try to go in, but the queue was wayyyy too long and I can't stand and wait that long anymore (see bump pics). So instead we walked around a bit and found some lovely crepe and ice cream places and had yummies. I love the first picture here of the sign for Notre Dame - with the giant building in the background. I think it would make more sense if the sign said 'DUH!!!". The middle picture was taken from the right bank of the Seine as we were walking in the direction of the Louvre. If you look very carefully in the picture you can see the tippy top of the Eiffel Tower.
Well - The bump continues to grow. These pictures mark week 25. if you compare to the 22 week picture (previous post), there appears to be some significant growth. It also appears that my belly button is in the midst of the innie to outie transition. There's a tiny bit of an indentation left, but it's mostly just flat. Was going to take a picture, but it just doesn't look right.
Until next time.....
