This is the countdown to our meteorite hunting trip in Australia. We leave on Thursday night and head to Perth via Singapore. We will spend a week in Perth getting our gear together to head out to the Nullarbor Desert. Having not been there before, I have no idea what to expect, other than it won't be nearly as cold as meteorite hunting in Antarctica. We will spend 2.5 weeks in the field searching for meteorites and checking on the fireball network cameras. We should be back to "civilization" on the 18th of October and back to London on the 20th. Wheee....
