Happy New Year!

I know it's a bit belated, but Happy New Year to everyone.

The posts are slow in coming because we just spent the last 2 weeks going through a round of flu. Not nice, but at least we're all well enough to enjoy the last weekend of holiday.

The last two days have been especially nice. We went to the Children's zoo in Battersea Park yesterday and enjoyed seeing all the monkeys, coati (sort of like a raccoon), birdies, sheep, and bunnies. Now that both of them are getting more words, it's much more fun to see how they communicate with us about the animals, for instance sheep are "baa baas" and bunnies evoke a bouncing motion.

Today we went to the playground near our house and had lunch with some friends and their son. All very fun, despite the chilly weather. It's hovering around freezing here lately, not anything compared with the US, but chilly for here.
